API Engine exposes data endpoints for the frontend of a service-oriented architecture, ultimately building an API that the frontend will consume.

Battleship is a strategy type guessing game for two players. Ships are plotted on grids for each player to assemble their fleet. The coordinates to locate the opposing player's ships are unknown, therefore players alternate turns calling "shots" at the other player's ships. Victory is achieved by destroying every ship in the opposing player's fleet.
