Split cjio into plugins about cjio HOT 3 OPEN

I support this, but define a plugin?

I tried to have this at the beginning, to let users develop their own function (à la rio, this way) but that didn't seem to work with my pipeline approach, so I gave this up. I mean adding a function work, but that function cannot be used in a pipeline (rio doesn't allow more than one function per call).

If you manage to make it work it's great.

Hm okay, thanks for the heads up. Yes the rio-type of plugins is exactly what I was thinking, but I didn't know it doesnt work in a pipeline. I hope its possible to still make it work somehow.
I'm integrating cjio into another application and having to carry along dependencies on C libraries (pyproj, numpy etc.) is quite a pain, so this is my motivation.

I think it's not possible, that is I fiddle a few hours and concluded that it's not and moved on. Perhaps I wasn't patient enough, or overlooked something.
