1. Add asdf_user variable to playbook and create user (automatic user creation is not supported).
2. Enable facts gathering. Role uses ansible facts such as ansible_os_family.

Thank for the help. It works perfectly.
I would add to the documentation, in order to use a plugin in Ansible playbook, we need to add bash -lc to the command. otherwise, it will not recognize Elixir.
Example:

- name: "Elixir version"
  command: "bash -lc 'elixir -v'"

Using PATH environment variable and shims is the default behavior for any version manager (rbenv, asdf, ...).
