`chef verify` on new OSX install fails about chef-dk HOT 4 CLOSED

I seem to have all the required versions on my system (I'm running a dev build from a few days ago, though):

ls /opt/chefdk/embedded/lib/ruby/gems/2.1.0/gems|grep rake
rake-0.9.6
rake-10.1.0
rake-10.1.1
rake-10.3.1

Do you have similar results? Are you running this from a bundle command or have any other ruby-specific environment settings that could be interfering?

We're gonna need more info to track this down. Can you see if the issue persists in the latest release (not yet announced, OS X package here: https://opscode-omnibus-packages.s3.amazonaws.com/mac_os_x/10.9/x86_64/chefdk-0.1.0-1.dmg ) can you let us know if there's any thing in your environment that could be affecting ruby or rubygems, and verify that the required rake packages are present?
