Hi,
Can I ask you to post this sort of question on the group discussion list first? That way others will be able to benefit from the question. (http://groups.google.com/group/cdi-unit)

I think you need to specify @AdditionalClasses(JNodeFactory.class). See: http://jglue.org/cdi-unit-user-guide/#controllingEnvironement where JNodeFactory is your factory class.

The issue is probably that CdiRunner needs to know about the factory, and it can't discover it automatically from the test class.

However, in this case I think that you should not be using @nAmed in your Main class (or factories). You don't want to be modifying your code every time you want to unit test it.

Instead, you can just inject Node without @nAmed, and in your unit test either specify a @produces field or reference the Factory using the @Additional classes annotation.

I have some files that work demonstrating @nAmed in a unit test, but can't get github to format the code properly. If you're still having issues then post on the discussion group then I'll follow up there.

Cheers,
Bryn
