Webm issue with Noscript addon about 4chan-x HOT 8 CLOSED

If it's loading the file from an archive, it's because the thread you were in died. Loading files from the archives is often slower, so you may notice that you have a partial video at first.

I'm not entirely sure if it is actually an archive issue any longer. Trying again now, using the latest builds webms would load at times, but at others would display nothing with the option to contract them when clicked. Hovering still sometimes never loads them until hovering over a second time, and opening directly still at times cause them to pause after the first few seconds, but play properly after being clicked again. Webms opened in a new tab always function properly. It isn't really a serious issue, but is something of a nuisance and the behavior isn't consistent.

This sounds like network problem rather than a 4chan X problem. If it's still a problem, check if it occurs when opening WebMs in a new tab after clearing your cache, and without hovering over the thumbnail first.

Sorry for the late reply, it does not happen in that case. It exclusively happens when using hover.

Sorry for the late response. Unfortunately, I cannot say for certain as I had long since changed browsers, after which the problem stopped happening.
