I fixed this by turning off Hardware Acceleration under Chrome's settings, however this makes the experience buggy and laggy.

However, Zoom does recognize the obs-virtual-cam, but it only shows a grey screen even if it is on. I tried reinstalling but nothing works. Any ideas?, and stay safe.

Sorry , this response comes quite late . I recently spend less time on my side projects because of the bone fracture on my right arm . Traffic accident sucks.

Back to the issue , I am not sure what is the problem right now , but I'll give a replay when I figure out something more.

DiegoPerex1441 - OBS with virtualcam works with Zoom - I use it all the time.

When I have a grey screen, it is usually because the virtualcam was not started, or I started OBS after Zoom.

Try this: Close Zoom and OBS. Start OBS. In OBS, click menu Tools-Virtualcam. In the box for Virtualbox settings that pops up, make sure you have pressed Start. Also note the Target Camera name shown there (probably "OBS-Camera"). Start Zoom. Start a New Meeting. In the Zoom popup window, at the bottom, click the arrow just to the right of the "Start Video" button (the button might also say "Stop Video) and make sure "OBS--Camera" is selected. Press "Start Video".

There is a way to have 4 virtualcam camera names but I found that could cause problems with Zoom, so go back to just one if you are using the four names.

I also fixed this issue by turning off hardware acceleration (using Edge) but Google Meet gets stuck on initializing(starting) the camera.
