Cannot reproduce with nvim -u /tmp/repro.lua -c "Octo issue edit 1"
2023-12-27.18-06-50.mp4
I guess it has something to do with how lazy.nvim's priority work, you could try changing priority between catppuccin and octo, or maybe something like after = "catppuccin"
if that still works.
/tmp/repro.lua
content:
-- DO NOT change the paths and don't remove the colorscheme
local root = vim.fn.fnamemodify("./.repro", ":p")
-- set stdpaths to use .repro
for _, name in ipairs({ "config", "data", "state", "cache" }) do
vim.env[("XDG_%s_HOME"):format(name:upper())] = root .. "/" .. name
end
-- bootstrap lazy
local lazypath = root .. "/plugins/lazy.nvim"
if not vim.loop.fs_stat(lazypath) then
vim.fn.system({ "git", "clone", "--filter=blob:none", "https://github.com/folke/lazy.nvim.git", lazypath })
end
vim.opt.runtimepath:prepend(lazypath)
-- install plugins
local plugins = {
{ "catppuccin/nvim", name = "catppuccin", priority = 1000 },
{
"pwntester/octo.nvim",
dependencies = {
"nvim-lua/plenary.nvim",
"nvim-telescope/telescope.nvim",
"nvim-tree/nvim-web-devicons",
},
config = true,
cmd = "Octo",
},
}
require("lazy").setup(plugins, {
root = root .. "/plugins",
})
vim.cmd.colorscheme("catppuccin")

Hey, thanks for the response. I played around with your feedback and realize that this is something to do with LazyVim and I actually ended up seeing another plugin do this.
I originally thought it was a trailing debug print statement or something, but I don't think so now.
Thanks for the feedback.
