Hide the password from the menu about rofi-pass HOT 9 CLOSED

hmm? There is no password shown in menu. Except for the "Show Menu" which name includes the word "Show" for a reason... That menu serves only a single purpose. to read the content of the file.

If you want to copy an entry without leaking sensitive data use the copy menu...

Is the "Show Menu" shown when I press enter after selecting the password?
When I press enter, I see:

• Choose Field to type >
• autotype
• user
• pass
• (and the actual password)

So, is it the normal behavior?
Does this mean that I must use the shortcuts (for instance, Alt+1) to autotype without ever seeing the password?

i cant reproduce this at all... can you create a fake password file, run bash -x /path/to/rofi-pass, hit enter on your fake file and show the output?

Ah, I found out that the password is shown when it contains spaces.
Are you able to reproduce this issue now or do you still want the logs?

just tried with spaces in passwords. cant reproduce. Are you on master branch btw?

Ok, i can reproduce with 1.4.1. can you try -git?
there have been some small fixes. if this solves it i will release 1.4.2 asap

by the way, you can set default_do to "autotype" in config, which will make Enter behave like Alt+1
Menu can still be seen with Alt+t

I cloned this repository to test the git version and it does not show the password.
So, that solves my issue.
