Huh, I didn't know you could use VS Code as a diff tool! Cool!

  • VSCode is a special case compared to most other diff tools -- most of them offer to register themselves in your .gitconfig as part of the setup process. I think it's worth adding a link to the readme for that.
  • Github Desktop doesn't appear to be useable as a git difftool / git mergetool -- the corresponding github tool only has clone and open subcommands.

I remember the little bit at the end of the README but maybe a little more on how to configure it? I guess maybe linking to a resource for each difftool would work best!
