Hi, are you using the latest version 2.3.0 which is on dev branch ?

from tooltipster.

nderambure avatar nderambure commented on June 17, 2024

Nope sorry I've forgot to say I'm using stable 2.2.2 !

Ok, can you please test with 2.3.0 ? It has undergone many changes and it's about to be released anyway, we just need to update the doc beforehand.

Ok, I'll test on thursday and will tell you then (not in my office tomorrow).

Hey @louisameline, I've just tested the master version on Chrome, firefox and Opera on an Android device (1st nexus tab) with 4.4 installed, and it only works in firefox for my website (how can I send you the website url, the website is in developpement ? Just for seeing it in action).

Note that your tooltipster homepage works correctly in Chrome and Opera.
It's maybe a problem about absolute position ?

Yoops, sorry, my mess....
It works in Chrome, Firefox and Opera on Android 4.4 :)

Just a bug in my config : I've choosen 'grow' animation which render like this on desktop :

  • hover an element with tooltipster
  • the tooltip appears instantly, without the growing animation (as the 2.2.2 did)
  • hover another element
  • the first tooltip grow down
  • the second appears instantly

On Android chrome, opera and firefox :

  • hover an element with tooltipster
  • the tooltip appears instaltly
  • hover another element
  • the first tooltip grow down
  • the current appears and then grow down and then reappears
  • etc...

Maybe just an adjustment in code animation :)

Thanks for the report ! The instantaneous appearance has been fixed on the dev branch (v2.3.0rc3).

As for the "the current appears and then grow down and then reappears" bug, it's weird. Let me know if fixing the first issue also fixed the second. Thank you.

Ok, tested with last dev branch, and it works as expected in all browser previously listed :)
Well done !
