As I attempted to reach my own financial freedom, I have seen myself and other around me making many mistakes while driven my their emotions, rather then numbers and data. This project is my attempt to support young investors into taking more sound decisions, and to stick to safe and data-proven investing strategies, rather than running after short term profits and taking highly risky decisions.
- investment-simulator: tool to explain standard investment strategies like Dollar-Cost Averaging and Rebalancing.
Starting from a simulation based on historical data on any major asset available on the market, allow the user to test the effect of those stategy over the course of seveal years, and therefore learn and understand how they work, why they are useful and when it may be good (or not) to use them to reduce investment risks.
While blockchain technology may change the way we approach internet and digital propriety, cryptocurrency are seen as a highly speculative asset used for trading. Trying set a line between blockchain technology (investment) and cryptocurrency trading (speculation), I developed tools to help long-term investors to support and benefit from the growth of blockchain-related infrasctructure, while minimizing the volatility due to market speculations.
