Thank you! :)

I have looked briefly at Polymer but I haven't had a chance to jump in and play with anything yet (so I have no idea how easy it would be to integrate).

Sounds like a fun project though! If you'd be interested in talking more, maybe we could tackle it together in a fork-or-branch? I don't have a lot of free time in the next 1-2 weeks (mostly just keeping an eye on issues and trying to push out fixes for any bugs reported), but I'll probably be available for some more feature development work after then.

Hi Brian,
Just saw a new project: https://github.com/GabiAxel/ng-polymer-elements

Been trying to integrate this into our project, but still the tip of the iceberg. Hopefully this can be the "glue" that then fits inside of angular-form-for and any type of Polymer inputs. Imagine how powerful that would be !

Interesting!

I'm wondering as I read through ng-polymer-elements if it wouldn't be better to create a bridge project (to join formFor with ng-polymer-elements) rather than integrating directly in formFor? I wouldn't want to force polymer usage too strongly on any plain vanilla Angular users because I like keeping formFor relatively light and free of dependencies. Then again I wouldn't want to make it seem too complex to use with Polymer...

What are your thoughts?

We could always chat about this over Skype or Hangout at some point if you think it would be easier to talk about in realtime.

Going to go ahead and close this for now because it seems inactive. Feel free to reach out to me again in the future if you'd like to collaborate on it though.

FYI @totai, I just released version 1.3.0. This version separates HTML templates from the main formFor library. I think this would make Polymer support fairly easy to add. I'm currently shipping formFor.defaultTemplates and formFor.bootstrapTemplates modules (in addition to the main formFor module). We could just add a 4th, formFor.polymerTemplates module.. :)
