Why is budgie-control-center not in the Arch Linux 'Community' repository? about budgie-control-center HOT 7 CLOSED

Ask Arch. I notified them of this back in March, and there has been no activity re:inclusion as of me making this comment. Feel free to poke the Arch guys about it though.

You can install budgie-control-center via the AUR for now (the AUR package is maintained by me, so it's safe), or use GNOME Control Center as a surrogate settings app if you don't want to use the AUR.

GNOME Control Center at this stage will segfault on multiple panels if used with Budgie and at that stage the only way to recover and be able to access any of the panels again is to launch it from the CLI and specify a different, functioning panel. It is necessarily to use Budgie Control Center with Budgie Desktop at this stage.

But yea, please poke the Arch devs and comment on the bug report linked by @serebit.

@serebit could you put budgie-control-center and other packages that are not in the 'Community' repository in the chaotic aur repository?
this would make it easier for me and others to create an iso of arch linux with budgie desktop

Also worth noting that it's in the EndeavourOS repository as a binary package, if you're fine with adding their repository.
