If you mean pixel, there is no problem about your URLs, the 1st URL you gave return a 1080_1920 pixel image while the 2nd URL return a 540_960 pixel image.

If you mean file size, the 1st image is 154KB while the 2nd is 59KB.

I don't know how "smaller than" happened.
