Any place there is a table that you have to right+click to edit the values, nearly everywhere else in modx it's a double click with the extJS framework table / grids. Just my $.02 I was going to attempt it myself but it's out of my skill set.

Hmm yes i am wondering the same thing. I'm pretty sure a solution is not in the forums.
I'm speaking particularly with MIGXdb in mind but it would be nice to have the option for MIGX too.

I think this feature really helps content editors when using MIGXdb in the backend forms regularly.
