@devstarman I'm not using Expo. Can you explain why we have the issue with Expo?

I am also looking for a react native with expo solution for sms retrieval. I get the same error as mentioned above
TypeError: null is not an object (evaluating 'RNSmsRetrieverModule.requestPhoneNumber').
Can you provide a fix for this? @devstarman were you able to find a solution for expo?

I'm using expo 3.25.0. I am trying to get RNSmsRetrieverModule from NativeModules and as a result I get RNSmsRetrieverModule === null.
...
import { NativeModules } from 'react-native';
const { RNSmsRetrieverModule } = NativeModules;
console.log(NativeModules.RNSmsRetrieverModule) // null
...
And I have "TypeError: null is not an object (evaluating 'RNSmsRetrieverModule.requestPhoneNumber')" too.
