npm audit
showed me this package as an issue as well. However, it was the result of an old node version. I guess somewhere in the dependency tree something requires a somewhat new node version. Node installs the last supported version of that package and this ultimately resulted in an old version of minimist. I'm working on an unrelated old project that requires node 14. Upgrading from node 14 to node 16 fixed this for me.

Browserify uses ^1.1.1, so minimist would be running at <=1.2.5, no?

Any plans to update this?

@DavideBecker I installed it with node 16.13.2 but still get the warning, what node version did you use?.
I have detective
as a dependency to tailwindcss. Would love to see this issue resolved.

It's resolved in detective 5.2.1.
