Sure;
You'll want to setup a Custom Slash Command in your Slack server. These slash commands will send an HTTP POST request to a provided URL whenever the slash command is used. Just run the server somewhere you can access from the internet and configure the slash command to send the POST to the URL that server is running on. The server will handle the POST requests and respond in a format Slack expects.
If you configure the slash command to be /mtg, you'd use it like /mtg Tarmogoyf. You should see an ephemeral response saying Fetching card.. and then a few seconds later you'll get the card data posted in the channel.
There's a known bug where the server won't let you know if it couldn't find the card, so watch out for that.
