So just to make sure I understand, you'd still like to vault the Android Pay server-side, but not show these payment methods in Drop-in? Unfortunately, we don't really have a good way to support this in Drop-in right now.
Also, you should be aware that we technically don't support vaulting Android Pay server-side, as per our docs. My recommendation, at this point, would be to move to more of a custom integration. Note that you can still list a customer's payment methods using vanilla Braintree, and filter them as needed. I realize that's not a great answer, and we'll talk about ways to support this use case in the future. However, if this is something you really need from Drop-in, feel free to make the changes that you'd like to see and send us a PR!
I'm going to close this for now, let us know if there's anything else we can assist with.

@bblackbelt - sorry for the late response. The payment methods that show up in recents
are vaulted payment methods. We don't vault Android Pay automatically client-side in Drop-in, like we do for credit cards and PayPal, meaning that you should only see Android Pay show up in recents
if you're vaulting server-side. Can you confirm that this is or isn't happening on your end?

@sdcoffey Yes, we see vaulted Android Pay payment methods server-side on Braintree. As we will have up to 2 Android Pay payment methods active at a time (one for single transactions, one to be used for an active subscription), we are still looking for a way to hide the "other" one in the "recents" or to remove AndroidPay from the "recents" in the Drop-in in general.

@hellmund After talking with the team about this, we're actually just going to always filter vaulted Android Pay cards. @lkorth is going to work on this today. I'll re-close this issue when we release.

@bblackbelt this has been fixed and will go out in the next release soon. Thanks for reporting the issue!
