Perhaps this should be setup in a way that client-specific issues can be filtered out separately. So network-wide issues (such as the upcoming hard fork) could be "Bitcoin" category, while the accidental 0.8 hardfork problem would be a "Bitcoin-Qt only" category, and other clients can do alerts in their own categories as well.

@luke-jr : I thought we could specify this in the texts of each alert to keep it simple, since there will probably not enough of them over time for a need to seperate them. Here is what I've done so far : #194 .
