Hey there:
The problem isn't implementing the search functionality, so much as figuring
out where the text would be.
Currently, there's no way to match a word with a pixel value (all scrolling,
etc. is done by pixels).

I would like to vote for this as well. If search was implemented, this would be
my
favorite app by far. It already does a wonderful job of reading books, but it
would
be great to use the app for offline technical docs/reference materials.

I agree, it will become my favorite app if a search feature is implemented.
Besides,
I disagree with wildonrio. Having the text, and having the way to render it on
the
screen the pixel location of all the occurrencies of the word should be
possible.

Uh, really? Clearly you're a better programmer than me, then, because I
haven't been able to figure it out. :/

alelasantillan,
I never said it was impossible. That was the programmer roosterspice, and I
believe him.

I've been making progress on this, actually. The solution may be ugly, but it
will at least be a solution.

roosterspice, you do great work and I'm confident you'll have a solution for us
soon. I look forward with great
anticipation to your solution for the requested search function. Though it may
be "ugly" at first, with time the
GUI will certainly see improvements.
Keep up the good work
