Dropdown not appearing in admin page when setting a default value in model. about django-jsonform HOT 3 CLOSED

So I did some tests. It seems it only happens when the outermost type in the schema and the default value don't match.

This works fine:

SCHEMA = {'type': 'object', ...}
field = JSONField(schema=SCHEMA, default=dict)

This doesn't work:

SCHEMA = {'type': 'array', ...}
field = JSONField(schema=SCHEMA, default=dict)

Please give me some sample code to reproduce this.

You're absolutely right, it was a mismatch between the type in my schema and the default: 'array' in schema, but 'dict' default.
I've now changed my default to a python list too, since I only care about the keys and not the values.
