I don't have plans to support any of the Apple platforms at this point. There's just too much work around supporting them because Apple tends to drop arbitrary bombs at developers all the time that are "drop everything you're doing, we're changing things up". I don't have bandwidth to deal with that.

(Like how Apple basically deprecated x64 overnight, how they mandate the unstable/unstandardized LLVM bitcode format on their iOS platforms, how they now require signing of all executables (that makes crosscompiling to macs from other OSes much more annoying, etc.).)

x64 is the latest that is getting the treatment.

It was PowerPC and x86 in the past, but those are already gone, including their emulators in the OS. Apple always has a couple year grace period with emulation but then it's over. Meanwhile, I still have EXEs targeting Windows that run on an OS from 1993 same as on an OS from 2021, including the ARM64 flavor of the OS.
