My name is Imran Ali and I am serving as lecturer in Computer Science and Information Technology department of University of Balochistan since 2007.

I like to teach following courses to undergraduate, graduate and masters programs:
- My research interest includes, text mining, natural language processing.

- I love to learn about language (both computer and natural languages, and Urdu poetry is one of my interests.Rekhta is a wonderful place for Urdu poetry and literature.
- I like understanding mathematics and its applications to solve problems. I find Brilliant very interesting.
- Trading and investing in Stocks is one of my recent interests.
- Youtube vidoes have helped me learn a lot, e.g. Numberphile, 3blue1brown, veritasium, MIT ocw

Before joining University of Balochistan I have worked with several organization in various roles.
- 2000 as assistant in a tree plantation project of National Highway Authority.
- 2001 as instructor in Chiltan college of business and commerce
- 2002 to 2005 as accounts assistant for Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO)
- 2005 to 2006 as data entry operator for Balochistan Educational Management Information Systems (BEMIS)
- 2006 as computer programmer for Balochistan Public Service Commission(BPSC)
