phaser update method slow in safari about cat-meow-side HOT 4 CLOSED

so changing the movement method (distance vs speed) did nothing because the game engine actually doesn't perform the updates if the frame rate slows down. - so I need to update the cat location in my own independent loop and then render the location during each update loop

I'm giving up on this for now. Safari gives an inconsistent amount of threads to my javascript code. I can not accuratly monitor the cats movement every 10 milliseconds without slight variations which throws the whole thing off

Both Safari and Firefox seem to run faster with Phaser.CANVAS than Phaser.WEBGL
