I don't understand the issue, this seems to work fine for me.

left = [
    "10.13.13.70",
    "10.13.21.168",
    "10.13.4.137"
];
right=[
    "10.13.13.70",
    "10.13.13.71",
    "10.13.21.168",
    "10.13.4.137"
];

var delta = jsondiffpatch.diff(left, right)

jsondiffpatch.patch(left, delta)

// delta is now {"1":["10.13.13.71"],"_t":"a"}

// left is now equal to right

// undefined
console.log(jsondiffpatch.diff(left, right));

from jsondiffpatch.

I have had a better look at this issue again and it appears to be an issue with the formatters not the underlying diff calculator.

This appears to be because if new elements are added then the recurse function in the BaseFormatter overwrites the old values.
