Turns out this is not actually a problem. The deal with this is that when your system is in auto, setpoint makes sense to be an arearange graph as you are using either heat or cool to keep your home between two setpoints. In cool/heat only mode, though, you really only have one setpoint that you're working off of so you simply want to stay either above or below it.

The issue with doing things that way is that you then get a graph with three+ lines on it (indoor temp, setpoint, outdoor temp, humidity). Even though they can be slightly different styles the graph will still look cluttered and confusing.

For that reason, I'm going to stick to the current arearange always no matter what as it's easy to understand. I did, however, add hvacMode to the sync which was missing before. This is "The Mode the system was in. Values: auto, auxHeatOnly, cool, heat, off""
