The hooks mentioned above are in place in the current release, 1.0beta1 Hawky. However, the code to merge /etc files still needs to be written.

miniBill is planning on writing a brm utility to merge /etc files and walk over a client's filesystem changing things as is appropriate. This should remedy both newly added clients as well as allow for support to multibooting a bedrock client as a stand-alone system. It may not be acceptable for a livecd/liveusb which pulls up clients on-the-fly, but we can worry about that part later.
