I think you are seeing this because the actual type of the subject business is BC (Limited), not ULC.

Try with an actual ULC and see what you get.

The original bug description was regarding the options provided when trying to alter a business that appeared to be a ULC, but was actually a BC.

The new description, in the comment above, is about something going on with a NR. I do see some Name Examination UI errors when loading it in Prod. Please ask Names team about that.

As for Prod NR 6922912, the Namex API response is as follows (which I have carefully formatted to avoid posting sensitive data):

It's an NR to perform an alteration (CNV) of BC1411926 to a CR (BC Limited). That business doesn't exist in Business Registry (LEAR) but it does exist in COLIN:

I'm not sure that the NR above makes sense: it seems to want to alter a "BC" into a "CR". The former is a BC Limited Company and the latter is a "corporation". which is what Namex calls a BC Limited Company. Maybe someone changed it using Name Examination UI.

I tried this in Dev:

1. start with a BC Limited company (BC0301123)

2. create an NR to alter to a Community Contribution Company -- this looks OK:

4. create a NR to alter to an Unlimited Liability Company -- this looks OK:

5. create a NR to alter to a Benefit Company -- this looks OK:

In summary, it looks like the static mapping tables (which are the same in Dev and Prod) appear to be working correctly, so it's likely the NR was changed after its creation. There may also be issues with Name Examination UI in Prod but I know nothing about that.
