In June of last year we decided as a team, and confirmed with staff, that it would be ok to leave out set limitations on the expiry date. The Extended Notice of Caution paper document would have the correct expiry date which would always be after the current CAU expiry. The reason this decision was made because of the amount of effort it would take to create set rules for the expiry date when this scenario would never happen.

It's not ideal, but perhaps we could create an enhancement ticket for this and discuss the effort with DEVS again. As for now, I think we can close this ticket and @arlentees I think I'll create an enhancement ticket for this.
