There's no recipe necessary. Just build any recent commit of emacs27, put crux.el somewhere, M-x load-file RET /path/to/crux.el
, and then do a M-x crux-sudo-edit
, now the minibuffer is stuck in Tramp: Sending Password
from crux.
It appears the new tramp is failing to match the password prompt, it just keeps infinitely looping on this block:
