If that's part of the https.request options parameter, you should be able to pass it like:

var client = xmlrpc.createSecureClient({ host: 'localhost', port: 9090, path: '/', strictSSL: false })

though i think you might need to pass rejectUnauthorized: false instead to get what you want, at least on 0.10.

You are right :) rejectUnauthorized: false did the job.

strictSSL: false is to be used together with https://www.npmjs.org/package/request
