The image in the dictionary that is returned is the 'fullScreenImage'. If you want to get the original image, use the "UIImagePickerControllerReferenceURL" key in the dictionary that is returned, and use that url to get the ALAsset from the assetsLibrary.

NSURL *url = [workingDict objectForKey:@"UIImagePickerControllerReferenceURL"];
ALAssetsLibrary * library = [[ALAssetsLibrary alloc] init];
