I received an email “Update your code to use the latest Azure OpenAl Service preview API by 2 April 2024” about azure-sdk-for-java HOT 5 CLOSED

Package contains a OpenAIServiceVersion class about backend versions (e.g. latest), and it can be set to the builder when you build the client (if not set, default is latest version in that OpenAIServiceVersion enum).

If your OpenAIServiceVersion contains a version higher than 2023-12-01-preview, and you uses it, it should be good enough.

A quick check on the code, you may need to use 1.0.0-beta.7

Hi, @WXCMYDEARMELAN. As the email mentioned, those Service API Versions will be retired on 2 April 2024. I would suggest you upgrade to SDK version 1.0.0-beta.7 which introduces the new service API version, 2024-02-15-preview.

There are many new features after 1.0.0-beta.2 (Service API 2023-03-15-preview). I would strongly suggest you upgrade to the latest version. 1.0.0-beta.7.

it is simply replacing the dependency version by 1.0.0-beta.7 and then fix the breaking changes if the APIs affect your source code.
