@danfsd I'm not able to repro this..! On a V2 function app, I am observing the correct behavior.

Could you tell me which runtime version you are using (see below)? Could you also make sure that your WEBSITE_NODE_DEFAULT_VERSION under application settings is set to an 8.x version (such as 8.4.0)?

Hey @mhoeger I was using WEBSITE_NODE_DEFAULT_VERSION=8.11.1, which I extracted from process.version.

@danfsd - I just tested again running in the Cloud (through the Azure Portal) with Functions Runtime version 2.0.11776.0 (beta) and node version (set through WEBSITE_NODE_DEFAULT_VERSION) 8.11.1. The issue does not appear.

Is your issue when you are running locally or in the Cloud (Azure Portal)? And which exact version of the runtime are you using (found under the "Function app settings" tab)?

If you're running in Azure and both node version and runtime versions match what I said, can you share your function app name, either directly or indirectly?
