Thanks for the feature request and your patience in hearing back here. I brought this up for discussion with the team, and the consensus was that this is not actually possible client-side — KMS.NotFoundException is coming back from the S3 service (and that can be verified in the debug logs, if you add --debug to your command). So it would have to be supported via the S3 APIs where the KMS loading occurs, rather than through the high-level s3 customization.
