This would involve refactoring the complete code of the three affected handlers, as they will no longer have I/O or blocking operations, meaning we have to structure it in some way where they are no longer really handlers, but some kind of "checkers".

This is no longer a high priority, as test coverage is full anyway for now. It would however improve the speed at which all tests are executed.
