I think it's a good idea of course, but couldn't finalize a list of states, actually :) If you have suggesitons, please don't hesitate :)

here is proposition:
PROCESSING - New order, user did not choose shipping / payment backend yet
CONFIRMED - shipping / payment backend are choosen, processing payment
COMPLETED - successful order (confirmed by payment backend)
SHIPPED - successful order shipped to client
CANCELLED - order has been cancelled
STATUS_CODES = (
