Although this is now included in the project, it just sends me to a blank page.

What I would like out of convenience is for this view (and others like it) to look for and redirect to the request.GET['next'] value

from django-shop.

I know this is an old issue, but just for future travelers.

You can override the CartItemDetail view with your own, that looks something like this:

class MyCartItemDetail(CartItemDetail):
    def success(self):
        if self.request.is_ajax():
            return HttpResponse('Ok<br />')
        else:
            return HttpResponseRedirect(self.request.GET.get('next', '/'))

and then use it instead of the default one in your urls.py

from django-shop.
