This is happening because cells are always measured with infinite size (because we want to know their natural size) but our layout system inherited WPF's semantics where you must give at least DesiredSize in the arrange pass, otherwise controls get clipped.
This means we need to do a two-pass measure, with the accompanying performance hit :(

For me this is the natural behavior...
Do you want that "privacy boost" button to overlap the next "incoming" column in this scenario?

The button should shrink to available width here so no clipping happens. The text layout will cut off remaining characters if not enough space is available. This only happens when text is measured with finite space.
