python setup.py sdist
pip install twine
twine upload dist/<name-of-thing>

That's the jist of it, you'll need PyPi accounts, make sure to update the versions at each release and probably test the sdist (the thing that gets uploaded to PyPi) actually works, before uploading it. Once a version is uploaded to PyPi, it can't be removed and a newer version is required.

python -m venv testvenv
source testenv/bin/activate
pip install dist/<name-of-thing>
python -c "import carl" # Should not give any errors

If you go down this road, I would advise switch to using the full semvar verisoning, i.e. x.y to x.y.z. The have a semantic meaning which is handy to be aware of. While in 0.y.z, make all the breaking changes you need :)
