I think so, but it's a low-priority enhancement now that we have decent sizing, right?

The reason this is not trivial is that it introduces extra state: do we want the size to be persistent across executions (yes, presumably). But this means we need to save this extra information somewhere in the notebook, and we have no support for it right now.

It would be generally a good idea to have a field in the notebook that stores this kind of metadata (an arbitrary json object would be simple and sufficient). But until we do that, let's defer on storing anything else besides the content of the cells.
