I kind of expected this to be tied in with the auto updating feature of Atom's core. Much like Package Control works for Sublime Text.

I have asked about this from the very beginning. Nobody seems to understand why I wanted such a button. 😵

I found out that you can run apm upgrade from the command line and it will let you quickly update all the Atom packages. But I still think this should be built into the application UI

Probably this can be done in a package, not necessary has to be a button inside the settings package.
