Good point, currently this behavior is possible in cmd-b
which is the open buffer list with the last buffer at the top.

Maybe it's a matter of getting used to it, but I do expect to see my latest open files at the top when I do command-T, and then the list changes if I started typing to do a search. That way one key-combination can provide both functions.

I also would expect the CMD+T behavior to "remember" my latest opened files, so one can quickly switch back and forth with CMD+T -> Return between two files, instead of doing CMD+T -> CMD+B.

I'd like to propose this issue is reopened.
It would be great if cmd-t could behave like cmd-b until the first key is pressed in the search box.
I often switch between 3 or 4 files, and it would be super convenient (and what I'm used to coming from Sublime) if the default list of files was the list of latest opened buffers. i.e. 10+ latest instead of only 1 latest.
