At this stage we won't be supporting this 'rails' behaviour. It sort of goes against the physicality we are trying to go for. It could be seen as breaking the analogy that a user is dragging physical objects around.

You can lock which list a user can target through types and isDragDisabled and isDropDisabled props. You can also update your UI on onDragStart to make it clear that there is only one place that will accept the users input at that time.
