It was Atlas <[email protected]>, and mine is a proton.me email, in case that's important.

I've registered using a gmail account.

If you can't register, you can ask questions on GitHub or https://www.reddit.com/r/Nyxt/.

You're probably doing something wrong. Please try again, thanks.

Do you have any insight as to what the issue might be? Its quite frustrating because I can’t ask on the forum since I don’t have an account. I’m not sure what I could be doing wrong since it tells me that it sent the email.

Maybe you have typed your email wrong. Try to open a new account. Check the spam folder.

I have double checked the email and tried with a secondary email but still nothing. Is it possible that it has something to do with the discourse server? I don't mean to keep bothering you but I have done all this preliminary stuff and filing this github issue was my last resort.

FWIW, I just now tried creating an account. I got the confirmation email and everything worked, so it's probably not a Discourse issue.

Ok thank you so much for checking, I’ll try to debug the issue.

It could be related to your location and ISP.

Can I ask what the email address was that sent the confirmation email?

Hmm, maybe that’s it? But wouldn’t the email still get to the email SMTP server? I’ll try to figure it out. Thank you for the help :)

I’m just using gmail which I doubt is somehow a special case. Nevertheless, thanks for the info :)
