Sleep()
takes in an unsigned integer milliseconds value, this is sleeping for 1 millisecond not 1 second. Changing it to 0.1
is basically just changing it to 0
. Can you share a screen recording of your before and after though? There may have been an unintentional side effect that caused beneficial changes. I have noticed a few times that some paths were not perfectly sticky, but every time I recorded and inspected it frame by frame has been the overlay moving a frame faster then the game.

Ah yep, Sleep(1) in Windows using windows.h is in milliseconds whereas sleep(1) on Linux using unistd.h is seconds... gotta love C.
Odd though, as it did seem to be snapping better. I'll try to compare the two.
