Arlo Belshee's Projects

agileengineeringfluency icon agileengineeringfluency

A model for undertanding the specific proficiencies involved in creating a good 2+star agile team. Initial draft presented at Agile 2013.

agileplanningforstakeholders icon agileplanningforstakeholders

If you are like me, you want to do your agile planning and in-team communication via physical magnetic whiteboard. Electronic tools don't cut it. But you also need to discuss summarized information to those not on the team. This tool makes that easy.

arlovsmocks icon arlovsmocks

This project was created in response to a blog post by Arlo Belshee in which mocks were declared smelly. Its intent is to compare the strengths and limitations of code developed with and without mocks. The initial commit has been written in a procedural manner for neutrality. Interesting differences will be highlighted as soon as two opposing implentations have brought the initial commit to full test coverage. Anyone with a strong opinion on the necessity/smelliness of mocks should feel encouraged to contribute their own branch.

Arlo Being Boody Stupid. This is my blog of interesting ideas. No filters. Not everything is fully described. But if you want raw, open flow of ineresting insights, look no further. And the good ones we will work out in comments and move to one of my more stable blogs.
