That's just the way image rendering works on Firefox, doesn't really have anything to do with the plugin as it does absolutely nothing to the images inside slides.
Usually this problem also becomes even worse when you scale images too much in firefox, so one thing you could try is to make sure that you aren't using too large image dimensions and also make sure that your image dimensions have even measures (so, instead of 456x300 change the dimensions to 450x300. seems to sometimes make difference in FF).
Also if comparing Windows FF and Mac FF the rendering seems to be a lot worse on windows (especially on XP), and this is true with any responsive design with fluid images.
